Performance Boat Center Debuts new MTI for Cocoa BeachThe Performance Boat Center of Osage Beach, MO., has made a promise to “race what they sell”, and this year, the Performance Boat Center’s offshore racing team is proud to debut their brand new Race Boat… an MTI. The team will be racing a brand new 43′ MTI Cat for the 2019 season. Always built with safety and speed in mind, the MTI World Champion Race Boats are uniquely built and designed to win championships. Featuring dual 750HP racing engines and a carbon fiber hull, MTI race boats are built to be lighter, stronger, and faster. 

About the Performance Boat Center Offshore Racing Team

The Performance Boat center offshore racing team is led by owners Brett Manire and Mark Waddington and is sponsored by Jimmy Johns. The crew is comprised of the Performance Boat Center service staff and the TNT Custom Marine Service Department. The MTI 43′ Catamaran will be driven by Myrick Coil with John Tomlinson on the throttles. According to Brett Manire, Performance Boat Center plans on making some custom changes to the MTI that have “never been done before” – changes they will begin revealing soon. 

The Race: Thunder on Cocoa Beach 

All offshore race teams are preparing for Thunder on Cocoa Beach, which is celebrating 10 years of Offshore Racing as one of the largest races in the country. This year, the race takes place May 16 – 19, and begins at Lori Wilson Park, with Turn #2 at the Cocoa Beach Pier and Turn #3 at Coconuts on the Beach.
