The MTI 390X catamaran was featured at the MTI Owners Fun Run this year and was the talk of the event! Mark and Britney Godsey’s MTI 390X was revealed in Florida for the annual owners event and it was certainly a show stopper. Read more below about the new MTI 390X and how it has grabbed so much attention.

Thanks to an all-hands-on-deck effort, the team at Marine Technology Inc., in Wentzville, Mo., was able to wrap up Mark and Britney Godsey’s new MTI 390X catamaran just in time for the Tennessee-based couple to enjoy last week’s sixth annual MTI Owners Fun Run in the Florida Keys.

It was the Godseys first time attending the event, and they couldn’t have had a better experience, according to Mark Godsey. In fact, Godsey expressed his gratitude in a sincere thank you note for his social network to read to MTI owner and founder Randy Scism, his daughter and MTI client relations manager Taylor Scism, MTI’s in-house designer Wes Jones and the rest of the MTI crew for knocking it out of the park with his new 390X, Project Mayhem.

“Britney and I had a great time breaking in the boat,” said Godsey, who is on this third MTI—he purchased the company’s first 38-foot cat, which was on display at the 2013 Miami International Boat Show, and in 2019, he picked up the former Pass Blocker canopied 52-foot cat. “The weather was great and the people were a lot of fun. I think my favorite part of the weekend though was Randy spending time with Britney driving. He spent hours with both of us. He showed her what the boat can do and explained to her how to work the throttles and trim. He also provided guidance on turning the boat and reading the water. Seeing the grin on her face and the excitement of her being able to handle the boat was awesome. I really appreciated him taking the time to do that with her. After that, every time we saw Randy, he smiled and told me, ‘I better see her driving and you throttling.’ I’ll never forget the whole experience.
