MTI’s 390X catamaran was recently photographed with a stunt plane flying over and has been receiving praises for the shot. Continue reading to learn more about what led up to the image and more.

By reporting on some of his newest toys from the likes of Marine Technology Inc. and seeing his radical performance boats at events up and down the East Coast, we’ve come across a lot of incredible pictures of Maryland performance boater David Landsman’s go-fast rides throughout the years. But none top this beauty of Landsman’s MTI 390X catamaran at last weekend’s Tiki Lee’s Shootout On The River in Sparrows Point, Md.

And thanks to Stan Piet of Schultz Airshows in Clearfield, Pa., Landsman, who took delivery of his new 39-foot MTI powered twin Mercury Racing 450R engines after the Miami International Boat Show in February, now has a new favorite image to hang on the wall.

Pictured “racing” the 390X in an exhibition pass with the Brian Correll Airshow’s highly modified Pitts S2S being flown by Correll just feet away from the 39-footer, Landsman said the experience during the event’s airshow on Sunday morning was something he will remember forever.
