Chris Wagner joined us during last month’s MTI Fun Run to the Bahamas and spoke about how much he enjoyed the experience with our organization and the Bahamas as a whole. Continue reading to learn more about what Chris thought and what’s in store for the rest of the season.

Although he’s technically already attended and/or sponsored several 2022 events at his company’s home base of Lake of the Ozarks in Central Missouri as well as one in Kentucky, Chris Wagner of WIA Marine Insurance recently returned from the MTI Owners Fun Run to The Bahamas that kick-started what he anticipates being a busy summer season.

Wagner and his lovely wife, Christy, joined their friends from Lake of the Ozarks—Precision Paint Worx’s Les and Kayla Voudrie in their MTI-V 42 luxury performance center console—for the six-day adventure with several other members of the MTI family. And, according to Wagner, the island-hopping experience was extremely memorable and extra refreshing being that a majority of his boating adventures don’t end up being vacations with his better half.

“That was the trip of a lifetime, no doubt,” Wagner said. “In my mind that’s the only way to see The Bahamas; because when you run your own boat over there, you can stop at so many places along the way. I mean if you were on a charter trip, you wouldn’t be able to see half of the things we saw because we had our own boat.

“The whole trip, from the people to the MTI team’s organization, was amazing, plus Les and Kayla were great hosts,” he added. “It really wasn’t work at all for Christy and me. We checked in with work stuff, but I wasn’t there to try to sell insurance. I did enjoy getting to hang out with a few of our clients, like Alan Wise from Tennessee—he’s a lot of fun.”
