Marine Technology Inc. is crossing the Atlantic. From September 8 through September 13, 2026, MTI will be on display at the Cannes Yachting Festival, the largest in-water boat show in Europe and one of the most competitive exhibitor fields in the industry. We applied last year, landed on the wait list, and earned final acceptance only after meeting the show’s strict eligibility rules, including the requirement that every boat on display have launched within the preceding twelve months. For a Missouri builder known for offshore race catamarans and custom center consoles, this is a real introduction to the European market. Here is where to find us, what we are bringing, and what you can do once you get there.
Show Dates And Daily Opening Hours
The 2026 Cannes Yachting Festival runs Tuesday, September 8 through Sunday, September 13. Doors open at 10:00am every day of the show. Tuesday through Thursday the show closes at 7:00pm, Friday stays open late until 10:00pm, Saturday closes at 7:00pm, and Sunday wraps up at 6:00pm. Six days is a long run by American boat show standards, and it gives us time to sit down properly with anyone who wants a serious conversation rather than a two minute walkthrough. If you are planning a single visit, the weekday mornings tend to be the calmest window for a detailed look at the boats.
Where To Find MTI In The Vieux Port
The festival is split across two harbors connected by complimentary sea shuttles and pedestrian crossings. Port Canto handles sailing yachts, brokerage, tenders and toys, while the Vieux Port is the powerboat side of the show, and that is where you will find us. MTI is on stands QML 047 and QML 139 along the Quai Max Laubeuf, with the boats in the water and rigged exactly as an owner would take delivery. The Vieux Port has two visitor entrances, one at the Palais des Festivals and one at the Pantiero facing city hall, and the sea shuttles between the ports run roughly every fifteen minutes starting at 10:00. Look for the MTI colors on the dock and the custom paintwork that is usually visible from a few slips away.
What We Are Bringing To Display
The centerpiece of our display is the MTI 50V center console, a 50 foot, 12 foot beam platform built on the patented Slot V hull, rigged with four or five outboards and carrying 550 gallons of fuel. It has a full cabin with a private head, the same finish level as our 57V, and the kind of custom paint and interior detailing that separates a hand built MTI from a production console. Alongside it we are featuring the MTI-V 422, our newest 42 foot center console, which pulls the best of the 50V into a smaller package with dual dock doors, an integrated boarding ladder, redesigned rear cockpit seating, recessed wind deflectors, raised helm seating and a dash that swallows Garmin screens up to 27 inches wide. French language brochures for both the 50V and the 422V are available at the stand and through the show’s exhibitor page. What you will notice first is the fit and finish, the cockpit and cabin layout, and the paint. Those are the things that photographs never quite capture.
Sea Trials And On Water Demos
Cannes is an in-water show, and that changes everything about how you evaluate a boat. We are running sea trials directly from the dock, which is an opportunity that has become genuinely rare at American shows and is a large part of why we committed to this event. Rather than describing what a Slot V hull does in a chop, we would prefer to put you in the seat and let the boat make the argument. Sea trial slots are limited and fill quickly across six days, so booking ahead is strongly recommended. Contact us before the show and we will hold a time that works around the rest of your schedule in Cannes.
Come See Us In Cannes
This is a first for MTI, and we are bringing the same boats, the same build quality and the same team that our owners in the States already know. Whether you are shopping a custom center console, curious about how a performance catamaran builder approaches a family boat, or simply want to see what 50 feet of American offshore engineering looks like tied up on the Quai Max Laubeuf, we would like to meet you. Any questions? Reach us at sales@mtiboats.com or +1 636-639-1166, or stop by stands QML 047 and QML 139 any day of the show.
